Gallery & Guest Management
Viewing, moderating and downloading the photos and videos your guests upload.
The guest upload experience
Guests can upload photos or videos straight from their browser after scanning the QR code — no app to install — and can optionally add a caption. Video can also be recorded directly through the browser using the camera; it's never saved to the guest's phone, only uploaded.
Managing media in the admin panel
The Media page lets you view everything, filter by QR code, and individually or in bulk:
- Hide items — removed from the guest gallery but not deleted, you can unhide them anytime. Editors can do this too.
- Permanently delete — irreversible, only available to the owner role.
- Bulk download — download the whole gallery, or just your selection, as a single ZIP file.
Content moderation
From Settings, choose how guests' uploaded photos and videos are checked before they go live, with three modes:
- Direct Publish (default): no checks at all, uploads appear in the gallery instantly.
- Manual Approval: every upload waits for owner or editor approval before publishing.
- AI Smart: the system runs a fully self-hosted AI check and automatically flags suspected inappropriate content for approval; you choose how sensitive it is (Strict/Balanced/Relaxed).
Uploads awaiting approval are collected in a separate tab on the Media page — you can approve them into the gallery, or reject and permanently delete them. Rejecting is irreversible.
Likes
Guests can like photos in the gallery with a heart icon (anonymous, can't be undone — counted once per device to prevent spam). You can turn this feature on/off from Settings, and choose whether to show a "most liked" sort tab on the gallery page. The most liked 5 photos are always visible to you on the Statistics page.
Turning the gallery and uploads on/off
From Settings you can independently turn off the gallery (guests viewing) and uploads (guests adding new content) — for example, turn off uploads once your event is over while keeping the gallery viewable.
